CACI - Information Systems Support, Inc. (ISS) was one of 17 contract awardees under the General Services Administration’s $35B CONNECTIONS program, administered by the Federal Technology Service, to provide telecommunications equipment, support services, and solutions to federal agencies. The ISS Team includes Avaya Inc., AVWashington, NetCom Solutions Government Services, Open System Sciences, TSR Inc., REVL Inc., and UNISYS.

The awards were made in three service categories: equipment and services, support services, and solutions. Equipment and services include voice, data, and video equipment; microwave systems, wire and cable, and installation and maintenance. Support services include a range of technical and professional labor skills; and the Solutions category includes infrastructure-related requirements using turnkey solutions, integration services, and managed services. CACI - ISS was one of only six companies awarded in all three categories.

The CONNECTIONS program is part of GSA’s effort to replace expiring regional equipment and services contracts. CONNECTIONS provides customers with a single contract vehicle to order a broad range of telecommunications equipment and services to support building and campus communications infrastructure needs nationwide.

CONNECTIONS is a multiple award fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracting effort. The contract provides a single contract vehicle to order a broad range of telecommunications equipment and services to support communications infrastructure needs nationwide. CONNECTIONS offers flexibility and choice by providing equipment, labor, and turnkey solutions to meet a variety of telecommunications infrastructure requirements. The contract is designed to respond to the customers’ buying patterns, which can be local, national, or global in scope.

The contract has a three-year base period with five one-year options. CONNECTIONS product offerings are focused on the telecommunications infrastructure needs for GSA clients. At least 50% of all prime contract awards under the CONNECTIONS acquisition is comprised of small businesses with at least one national award based on the Government’s best value determination.

  • Data concentrators, routers, switches, and virtual private networks
3. Cable and Wire Management
  • Complete solutions for cable and wire management involving new installations and legacy systems
  • Supporting services and equipment including cabling and wiring, power systems, equipment racks, and cross connection panels
4. Voice and Video Conferencing

  • Video systems including codecs, and inverse multiplexers
